Original TED Talk:  12:02  minutes

Summary: 1:11 minutes (Should be 1-2 minutes)

-          10,000 people around the world google ‘’am I ugly?’’ Or post videos asking if they’re ugly.
2-      They lower their standards just to impress others and to force themselves to fit in the society.
3-      If you weren’t  thin enough your average grades are lower than usual.
4-      The pressure of wanting to lose weight fast causes damage on our physical health.
5-      To fix the problems, educate for body confidence.
6-      Family friends and relationships  along with media, teasing , comparing the looks and bullying are also an influence.
7-      Work together to change the way we see ourselves.

Around 10,000 people in the world Google or YouTube ‘’Am I ugly?’’ and it is because people around them in the society tell them that they’re ugly even though their parents call them beautiful. Boys and girls lower their standards just to impress others and to force themselves into a hole they will never get out of easily just to fit into the society.

Moreover, weight is also a reason for the people to have lower grades because they are worried about how they look more than their studies and it is because of the people around them. They try to lose weight fast by doing surgeries or other ways just to feel good about them regardless of how that might cause some problems in the future.

They need to focus on educating to gain confidence and work as a team and try to prove themselves without taking any risks and show that they can fit in despite what people can say. Family and friends have a big influence on how the child will grow as well as school which recently has got many teasing and bullying going on which makes them feel unconfident and start skipping school and then dropping out.
